ElginCFDC This is the largest event of this kind in S. Thomas, bringing the business community together with the consumer to showcase their goods and services to promote shopping local. If you think networking with as many as 55 businesses can help you grow your business, then join us on Saturday, April 24th from 11 am-5 pm. This is an opportunity to show your community support and make ”shop local” mean something to the consumer.

Eat Fresh, Buy Local!

March 4, 2010
ElginCFDC Eat local, Buy Fresh! Elgin CFDC is the lead agency for this collaborative project with the Elgin-St.Thomas Tourist Association, Elgin Federation of Agriculture, and the West Elgin Community Health Centre along with the private sector of the business participants. The brochure and map is attractive and needed to go to second print as they flew off the shelves. A year end evaluation illustrates that the consumers and vendors have only positive comments and recommend very few minor changes. For view the 2010 edition, click here.
