ElginCFDC     This year, St. Thomas Elgin County United Way plans on surpassing last year's total of $13,683.00 by continuing employee donations, and running two events. The Warden's Charity Golf Tournament was one event and was held at Kettle Creek Golf and County Club on June 12th, 2009. ElginCFDC Elgin Business Resource Centre and The Elgin-St. Thomas United Way are partnering to put on an ice cream social. The cost is 5$ per person with all proceeds going towards the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation. Get ready for Canada Day by coming out and making a fabulous ice cream sundae. We will have different ice cream flavours and assorted toppings including fresh locally grown strawberries, sprinkles and sauces.
