Elgin Business Resource Centre (EBRC) Announces Rural Economic Development Initiative (REDi)
February 22, 2019
The Elgin Business Resource Centre (EBRC) is excited to announce its new program, the Rural Economic Development Initiative (REDi). This program will ensure the continued growth of economic development throughout ALL of Elgin County.
In order to facilitate outreach to every part of the County, EBRC will be opening community REDi offices in Aylmer and Port Stanley as well as REDi meeting room access in Dutton. These offices, combined with the head office in St. Thomas, will ensure that EBRC continues the acceleration of business growth in all of Elgin County, including St. Thomas.
As of March 31, 2019, the current financial partnership with the County of Elgin, which began in 2012, will be terminated by the County. In order to continue to grow sustainable business throughout Elgin County, EBRC will be unveiling REDi on April 1, 2019. Exact locations of the new REDi offices in Port Stanley and Aylmer will be announced shortly.
“I am incredibly excited about the new Rural Economic Development Initiative” says Kevin Jackson, General Manager of EBRC. “This will allow us to continue to serve all entrepreneurs in Elgin and grow the economy.”
