A graduate of Centralia College’s Food Service Management program, Marilyn was employed at the Ontario Police College for ten years before moving to the not- for-profit sector. Marilyn worked for more than seven years at a local charitable organization. Her responsibilities included office management duties along with producing monthly newsletters, promotional materials and graphic design work.
As Community Economic Development Officer for the Elgin Business Resource Centre, Marilyn can often be found around St Thomas and Elgin County actively involved in community committees and projects which  facilitate prosperity and strengthen communities.

Marilyn is currently studying at University of Waterloo for her Economic Development certificate.
